Promoting awareness and prevention of pre-term birth, the March of Dimes teamed up with The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to host an event for World Prematurity Day.

Julia Barnard from The Wharton School said, "I would like to thank you on behalf of the March of Dimes for participating in our event this past Saturday. The cupcake donation was very generous and greatly appreciated. Everyone who attended the event raved about how delicious the cupcakes were!"

  6. Stress Busters!

Did you know that April is Stress Awareness Month? This month is dedicated to nationally recognizing the factors that cause stress, as well as providing support and solutions to those people who feel overwhelmed with stress. In honor of Stress Awareness Month, Tiffany's Bakery has put together a guide to some of the best stress busters out there!

First, understand the cause(s) of your stress. Maybe you're putting too much pressure on yourself by overbooking your personal calendar, or perhaps you just had a lot of responsibility placed upon you at the office. Whatever it is, try to isolate what it is that is causing you to feel stressed. Pinpointing what is causing your stress will allow you to figure out a way to relieve the stress you are feeling.

Remember to breathe. Stress often causes us to forget to breathe deeply, when doing so can help to settle our nerves and steady our minds.

  8. Grand Opening Event Recap

Friday, June 5 was an exciting day here at Tiffany's Bakery. We hosted our Grand Opening Event and gave out 1,000 free cupcakes! Before 9 am, patrons started lining up to receive their treats. You could hear customers telling commuters coming off the trains to make sure they got their free cupcake - one of the many reasons we love our customers!

In just the first hour, 200 cupcakes were given out and by 3 pm, one lucky patron received the 1,000th free cupcake.

Overall, the day was a complete success. We were so happy to see staff from the hospital, Septa workers, Philadelphia police officers, business men and women, families, and students stopping by to try our cupcakes and see our new storefront.

Owner Frank Pantazopoulos said, "What a great day! We appreciate everyone who stopped by to celebrate with us. My sincere thanks to our wonderful regulars, and a warm welcome to our newcomers!"
